After knitting the Twin Leaf Baby Blanket, I decided to tackle a faster and easier project. I'm making this baby blanket with Cotton Ease (my favorite cotton blend yarn) and am sticking to simple stitches like garter and knits and purls. I typically like the simple patterns just as much as the more complicated ones.
I don't know about you, but I seem to have way less knitting ambition in the summer. A quick cotton pattern is much better than a complicated wool pattern when my attention span is short.
I'll share the finished details once I finish knitting 1.5 skeins more. I'm not using any specific pattern, but I'm certain I'm not the first one to knit something like this. Stay tuned for the pattern details in a few weeks.
What's on your needles this summer?
